The Park on 14th, a 62-unit apartment community, is the result of a partnership between the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) and DMA Companies.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"park14_community-room-020\" id=\"file-4189600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/park14_community-room-020.jpg;w=960.jpeg\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhoto: The Park on 14th&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Housing For The Workforce<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsahc.org\/news\/article\/texas-state-affordable-housing-corporation-anddma-companies-celebrate-the-opening-of-the-park-on-14th-planos-newest-affordable-apartment-community\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">official statement<\/a>, most of the apartments are reserved for households earning up to 80 percent of the area median income. The design emphasizes energy efficiency, with HVAC and mechanical systems aimed at lowering utility bills for residents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis community reflects two of our priorities \u2014 creating affordable, quality housing in high opportunity areas and working with strong partners,\u201d said David Long, president of TSAHC, in the statement. \u201cI\u2019m proud to say the Park on 14th accomplishes both.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The $17.2 million project was financed primarily through a loan from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and equity from TSAHC. TSAHC owns the land, while DMA Companies developed the community.<\/p>\n<p>Location And Amenities<\/p>\n<p>The Park on 14th sits in Plano\u2019s Kendrick neighborhood, steps from the downtown DART station and adjacent to the city\u2019s historic commercial district.
