One of Lubbock\u2019s <\/a>most meaningful nights of the year is officially on the calendar. Ronald McDonald House Charities<\/a> (RMHC)\u00a0is inviting the community to come together for an evening of heart, hope, and impact at its annual Red Shoe Gala<\/a>, presented by LBK Roofing<\/a>, on Friday, February 20th, 2026.<\/p>\n

The Red Shoe Gala is RMHC of the Southwest\u2019s signature fundraising event, and it plays a critical role in helping families stay close when they need it most–during a child\u2019s medical crisis.<\/p>\n

An Evening That Makes a Real Difference<\/p>\n

Set to take place at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion<\/a> on the Texas Tech campus, the gala will feature a plated dinner, complimentary cocktails, wine and beer, plus both live and silent auctions. Guests will also experience powerful \u201cmission moments,\u201d offering a firsthand look at how their support directly impacts families across Lubbock and West Texas.<\/p>\n

The Red Shoe Gala is not only a time for us to get together and celebrate the triumphs of the families we serve, but also to raise the funds necessary to make sure families don\u2019t have to worry about where they\u2019ll stay when their child is sick.<\/p>\n

Keeping Families Close in Times of Crisis<\/p>\n

For many families, being near their child during medical treatment can come with heartbreaking challenges. Some parents have shared stories of sleeping in hospital waiting rooms–or even their cars–because they couldn\u2019t afford to be far from their child.<\/p>\n

Funds raised at the Red Shoe Gala help provide comfortable beds, hot meals, and emotional support, giving families a true home away from home while their child receives care. It\u2019s a mission that deeply resonates in Lubbock, where RMHC serves families across 68 counties in Texas and New Mexico.<\/p>\n

Sponsorships for the 2026 Red Shoe Gala are available now, while tables and individual tickets will go on sale in mid-January. The event has sold out quickly the past two years, so securing a sponsorship early is the best way to guarantee a seat for this unforgettable night.<\/p>\n
