CLEVELAND, Ohio – A former employee of Eaton Corp. was sentenced Thursday to four years in federal prison for sabotaging Eaton Corp.’s computer systems after he was effectively demoted in 2019.
Davis Lu, 55, a Chinese national, also faces potential deportation as a result of his conviction. He was found guilty in March of one count of causing intentional damage to protected computers – causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses – following a six-day trial before U.S. District Court Judge Pamela Barker.
