One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a work truck crashed into a ravine Thursday in Boone County.According to dispatchers, the crash happened just after 7 p.m. along Lawrenceburg Ferry Road when officers responded to an industrial crash.According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the company involved, Road Safety Systems LLC, were contracted to install guardrails in the area. The sheriff’s office said a worker was operating a freightliner from its rear control panel when for unknown reasons, the truck backed over an embankment and overturned, pinning him.The worker was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Robert Kinsella, 42, from Hopewell Junction, New York.During the incident, the freightliner also hit a second person. That person was flown to the hospital where they’re currently listed in stable condition with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the company involved, Road Safety Systems LLC, were contracted to install guardrails in the area.
