Fans of the reality TV show “Farmer Wants a Wife,” got some sad news when it came to John Sansone and Claire Dirette’s relationship.
It turns out that the popular couple have called things off just months after their run on the show ended.
People Magazine reported that Sansone made the announcement on a since deleted Instagram post.
“This was a mutual decision based on private challenges, and had nothing to do with any reposts,” he wrote. “While I’ll always appreciate and respect the time we shared together, I feels it’s best to move forward separately. While our relationship was public, I wish for this chapter to remain as private as possible.
“Thank you for your kindness and support.”
US Weekly said that Dirette shared Sansone’s post to her Instagram stories before he deleted it and wrote, “I ain’t reading all that but ditto.”
She later thanked fans for their “kind messages over the past 24 hours!”
“All the love and support has gotten me through it,” she said.
The couple met on Season 3 of “Farmer Wants a Wife” which wrapped up back in May.
