Team USA will begin its quest for gold at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup on Saturday, Aug. 23. The Americans are looking for revenge, too, after failing to reach the championship game at the 2022 tournament.

This year’s squad features a number of familiar faces, led by head coach Stephen Silas. Former NBA guards Langston Galloway and Jerian Grant are part of a dynamic backcourt, which also includes Javonte Smart and Jahmi’us Ramsey.

Team USA will compete in Group A alongside Brazil, Uruguay and the Bahamas. The top two teams from each group, as well as the two best third-place teams, will qualify for the quarterfinals. From there, the bracket follows a single-elimination format.
