Anderson County fire officials said following an electrical fire, the Hooters on Interstate Boulevard is a total loss. Officials said three departments dispatched as well as a ladder team, which is the typical response for a commercial building fire. Several agencies were at the scene including the Anderson County Fire Department, the Centerville Fire Department and the Sandy Springs Fire Department.The Sandy Springs fire chief said crews were dispatched at 4:17 a.m. Monday.Officials said no one was inside and there are no injuries so far. Officials said this is the third time in two months crews have been called to this location for an electrical fire, and the second time in 24 hours. Crews were at the Hooters at 8:40 p.m. Sunday in a different part of the building. They said an officer was responding to a different call and saw in the fire. The three fires happened after the building underwent renovations, which officials said could be correlated but they’re not sure. They will be on scene Monday as they monitor what’s left of the fire.
