Country and pop music star Maren Morris is out on her “Dreamsicle Tour,” and she has been doing her best to connect with fans while doing it, too.
That includes hosting meet and greets, but it appears a fan recently took advantage of her allowing access.
“Hi y’all,” Morris shared on her Instagram stories on Friday, Aug. 22. “Tonight’s show was so fun but someone grabbed my (butt) during meet and greet before the show. I’m going to continue them because one person shouldn’t ruin it for everyone, but please know I’m there to connect, share, hug, all the things but please don’t override someone’s personal space. Love you.”
Morris did not identify the fan.
Morris’ American leg of her tour runs into October, and it includes a pair of stops in Pennsylvania. She is slated to perform at The Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem on Sept. 13. She is then slated to play The Met in Philadelphia on Sept. 14.
Jade LeMac is scheduled to perform along with her at each concert.
The singer has seen her share of headlines across the past year, including some not-so-great ones as she and her ex-husband, Ryan Hurd, split up after being married for five years.
She has revealed that the “Dreamsicle” album was inspired by their divorce.
“I’m not documenting what happened during the relationship,” she said in an interview with the Cut. “I’m documenting the grief, anger, and sadness that follows, and the vulnerability of putting yourself back out there again … of reconnecting with your female friends and yourself.”
