Here’s everything you need to know about Massachusetts’ premier LPGA Tour event.

Single-day and full-weekend pass tickets are still available on SeatGeek. Daily tickets start at $54 for general admission, and weekly passes start at $124. Admission is free for children ages 17 and under when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Designed by Arnold Palmer in 2002, and modified by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner in 2007, the course is set on nearly 4,000 acres and features natural terrain, woodlands, and wetlands. It will be set up a bit differently for the women. While the course played as a par-71, 7,297-yard test for the men on the PGA Tour, it will be a 6,598-yard, par-72 for the FM Championship.
FM Championship purse and perks for athletes
The FM Championship, only in its second year, has quickly established itself as a premier destination on the LPGA Tour.
The tournament’s purse of $4.1 million (up from $3.8 million in 2024) is the seventh-largest on this year’s LPGA Tour. Only one tournament remaining on this year’s schedule — the CME Group Tour Championship in November, $11 million — has a larger prize pool.
The tournament, its organizers, and sponsors have also gone the extra mile to provide hotels for all players, offset transportation costs, and include additional amenities that other tournaments might overlook.
“The word’s out — the FM Championship is the place to be this time of year,” said Dave Johnson, FM’s senior vice president.
FM Championship golfers to watch

While many of the top-ranked golfers opted out of last year’s FM Championship because of unusual scheduling around the 2024 Paris Olympics, this year’s field is stacked and features 70 LPGA Tour winners and all five 2025 major champions.
Of the top 40 players in the world, 36 will play at TPC Boston. Here’s who to keep an eye on:
▪ World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand and No. 2 Nelly Korda of the US will highlight the field. Thitikul, 22, finished fourth at the event last year and has five wins and 49 top-10 finishes since joining the Tour in 2022.
Korda, 27, has 15 career wins (none this season) and has made four appearances in the Solheim Cup, helping Team USA to victory in 2024. She’ll be making her FM Championship debut.
▪ The tournament’s defending champion, Haeran Ryu, and 2024 runner-up Jin Young Ko will return to the FM Championship. Ryu held off Ko in a playoff to win the inaugural event and take home $575,000.
▪ Massachusetts native Megan Khang (ranked No. 31 in the world) will again represent her home state after finishing tied for 35th (3 under par) at last year’s FM Championship. Khang, who grew up in Rockland with her father as her coach, joined the tour in 2016 and has 46 career top-10 finishes. Other local competitors include Shrewsbury’s Brittany Altomare and Westborough’s Alexa Pano.
