A water main break in Virginia City at the intersection of D Street and Union Street has been turned off, with no residential impact expected, officials said. Crews are currently on site addressing the situation.
Two businesses, the Bucket of Blood Saloon and The Lost Seoul Saloon, are affected by the break. Despite the incident, there is no boil water order in place at this time.
While water main flooding is not anticipated, storm flash flood advisories remain in effect. Sand and sandbags are available for residents at the VC Icehouse located at 110 Toll Road.
