Pablo Torre has sent out a goodbye message to Barcelona after sealing a permanent transfer to Real Mallorca.
The midfielder moves on after finding game time hard to come by, although Barcelona do have a buy-back clause in the transfer.
Torre has now said his farewells to culers in a post on Instagram. He wrote: “My first games in professional football, my first goals, my first titles, playing with the best. The first times are never forgotten. Thank you @fcbarcelona.”
The midfielder has signed a four-year contract with Mallorca and has spoken to the club’s website about his decision to join this summer.
“I’m very happy. I’ve been telling myself for a couple of weeks now that I wanted to come here, that I wanted to enjoy Mallorca, and I’m really looking forward to meeting the fans, my teammates, and starting training tomorrow,” he said.
“From the moment I first spoke with Jagoba [Arrasate] and Pablo [Ortells] during a video call we had when I was at the European Championships, they gave me a lot of confidence. I needed it. I felt like this could turn out really well, and I’m very happy to be here.”
