Have you wondered what would happen if “The Waltons” met the cast from “90210”? “First Light” allows readers a peek into the foundation of the families who make up Farnham’s “Red at Night” series, a mixture of mystery, romance and drama with a bit of Maine humor.

While this book has been preceded by “Red at Night” and “Red in the Morning,” “First Light” will afford readers the opportunity to learn the back story of their favorite characters in the series; who doesn’t love Jack Finn and Melissa Andrews, Boothbay Harbor’s power couple? This book is also perfect for readers who are new to the series, as it will provide insights into the characters and their actions in the remaining books in the series.

“First Light” is a charming tale that invites readers to explore moments of this Maine family’s life of comical events, tragic events and sows the seeds for future revelations in the series.

“First Light” is available in hardcover, paperback and across digital platforms.

Farnham is a native of Boothbay Harbor and a U.S. Navy veteran. Before serving his country, Farnham worked on his father’s lobster boat beginning at the young age of 6. Now based in Gorham, he lives with his wife and two children. When not juggling a day job and his writing, Farnham enjoys archery, working on his Jeep and reading works by fellow authors, including Maine’s own Tim Cotton.
