Shane Bieber, Kevin Gausman and Max Scherzer are lined up to pitch in the weekend series at Rogers Centre from Friday through Sunday.
Meanwhile, José BerrÃos‘ next start was pushed back to Tuesday against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Brewers have scored the third-most runs in MLB, while the Reds sit 13th.
Prior to a strong start against the Miami Marlins, BerrÃos had struggled over the summer, posting a season-high 5.64 ERA in July and following it up with a 4.64 mark in August.
Toronto has been juggling a six-man rotation since Bieber made his return from Tommy John Surgery, with Eric Lauer and Chris Bassitt also in the mix.
If all six were taking their regular turn, BerrÃos would have been lined up to face the Brewers on Saturday. Instead, he’ll receive an extra two days’ rest while Gausman and Scherzer each have five days between starts.
The Blue Jays wrap a series against the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday, with Lauer set to start. They have a day off Thursday before welcoming the Brewers on Friday.
