Samsung just announced its next Unpacked event is happening on September 4, which could steal some thunder from Apple’s next fall device event. The company has already hosted three Unpacked events this year: one for the Galaxy S25 announcement in January, another in May specifically for the Galaxy S25 Edge, and just last month for its new foldable phones.
With this fourth Unpacked event, it’s actually going to be a virtual one, where we’ll “learn more about the latest addition to the Galaxy ecosystem” according to Samsung. While the invitation shows an image of a box that’s been tied to Unpacked events previously, there appears to be three stars inside of them — which is the icon associated with Galaxy AI.
This next virtual Unpacked event is set to kick off at 5:30 a.m. ET on September 4 and will be streamed on its website and YouTube channel. Considering how this is set right before the official start of IFA 2025 and how it mentions reserving the latest Galaxy Tab device to get a $50 credit offer, it could be a showcase for none other than the Galaxy Tab S11.

There haven’t been a lot of leaks around these premium tablets, which would be follow ups to the Galaxy Tab S10 and Tab S10 Ultra. The leaks hint that the Galaxy S11 will have an 11-inch display, while the Tab S11 Ultra would have a larger 14.6-inch panel.
However, there’s also been rumors around the Galaxy S25 FE reveal. Reports hint that it would be thinner than last year’s model, a similar triple camera system, and a Mediatek Dimensity 9400 chip to power it. Another potential reveal at this virtual Unpack event could be a teaser of some kind around Samsung’s tri-foldable phone, which is tipped for a launch as early as October.
