A teenager was taken to the hospital after being shot in East Pittsburgh Wednesday night. Allegheny County police said they were called to the scene within the 500 block of Main Street just after 7 p.m. following reports of shots being fired. When officials arrived on the scene, a teenage boy was found with a gunshot wound to his legs. He was taken to the hospital and last said to be in stable condition. Preliminary information found that the suspect was outside shooting into the residence when the teen was hit, police stated. An investigation is ongoing. EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. —

A teenager was taken to the hospital after being shot in East Pittsburgh Wednesday night.

Allegheny County police said they were called to the scene within the 500 block of Main Street just after 7 p.m. following reports of shots being fired.
