Former Ghana U-17 goalkeeper, Ali Jarah has revealed that his late mother was against his decision to pursue a career in football.

According to Ali Jarah, his mother was against him playing football because of the use of juju and other spiritual means to secure the three points or trophy in the game.

He made this revelation in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb’s Frank Kamal Acheampong on Sports Check detailing the ordeal he went through when he became paralyzed.

“My mom was late then but she told me not to play football because juju is part,” he stated.
