With construction expected to continue until 2026, Ezee Fiber is committed to ensuring that homes and businesses will have the foundational next-generation network in place as soon as practical.

Ezee Fiber has created an online resource (https://ezeefiber.com/fiber-construction/) for residents seeking information about the network construction in their neighborhood, including answers to frequently asked questions and product and services.

In addition, Ezee Fiber has additional methods to get in touch regarding construction activities: [email protected] or residents may call 253-260-3600.

Residents can expect to see construction begin next week in Milton and Lakewood. The company said it also expects to begin construction in Fife in mid-September. Ezee Fiber says its plan is to have crews working Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on main roads, and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on residential streets.

Ezee Fiber says it will communicate extensively with area residents before construction begins.

Signs will be posted indicating work areas. Temporary road detours may be required, and parking may be restricted in construction zones. Access to properties will be maintained as much as possible during construction. Residents will be notified by Ezee Fiber’s construction contractors at least 10 days in advance of any temporary road restrictions.

As a result of partnerships between Ezee Fiber and the cities of Milton, Lakewood and Fife, these infrastructure construction projects are part of the effort to facilitate the expansion of broadband infrastructure. The high-speed internet expansion throughout the Puget Sound region is being funded by Ezee Fiber.

“We’re excited to welcome Ezee Fiber to the City of Milton. Expanding the availability of high-speed internet services means more choices, faster speeds, and better service for our residents and businesses. This kind of investment supports our growing community and strengthens Milton’s infrastructure for the future,” says Mayor Shanna Styron Sherrell, City of Milton.

Ezee Fiber recently announced its plans to invest $400 million in expanding its network in the Puget Sound region and hiring 350 people for sales, customer service, technician and other roles.

“Homeowners and businesses today depend upon the internet to work, play, learn and shop. We are very excited about the future in the greater Puget Sound region, and we are thrilled to continue ahead with our significant region growth plan,” said Eddie Abreu, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Pacific Northwest Region, Ezee Fiber.
