The former Booker T. Washington standout is back in his home state after spending two seasons at Texas A&M. Tease had a limited in his couple seasons on campus appearing in nine games overall.

After three seasons in College Station, Erb is set for his first season at Tulsa. The former four-star saw action in wins over Missouri and New Mexico State while with the Aggies but has not seen extensive playing time so far in college.

Garza appeared in all 13 games for Sam Houston last season contributing primarily as a blocking tight end.  He also recorded one reception for two yards against UCF but the former Katy product has largely carved out a role as a run blocker.

Sacramento State kicks off its 2025 season on Saturday evening against San Diego State with Ernest Campbell among the newcomers in action. Campbell redshirted as a freshman in 2024 while also running track for the Aggies.

Karner’s stay in Aggieland lasted just one semester, as he entered the portal this past spring. Originally a member of the 2024 class, he opted to push back his arrival in College Station back due to undergoing shoulder surgery but was behind a couple other players in the tight end room.

After two season each at Texas A&M and Indiana, Burris is making his third stop at Memphis. Burris record 34 total tackles in 25 total games played as a Hoosier after appearing in eight games for the Aggies.  

A late addition to the 2023 class, Johnson saw limited action in his two seasons in College Station before entering the transfer portal this past offseason. As a freshman, Johnson played in all 13 games, mainly on special teams, before appearing in four games in 2024. Texas State opens the 2025 season against Eastern Michigan on Saturday.
