ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – An “armed shooter” has been reported on the University of Georgia campus, according to the school.
The school said the shooter was reported “in the area of the Main Library.”
People are encouraged to avoid the area.

The report comes the night before the Georgia football team opens the season against Marshall. Thousands of people are expected to attend the game. Many have come from out of town to attend.
