CLEVELAND, N.C. — Viewers in the Rowan County town of Cleveland saw a large fire burning from a structure at a truck manufacturing plant on Statesville Boulevard on Saturday.
Heavy smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of the building, stretching for miles, according to photos and videos circulating online. One video even appears to show flames inside the plant.
At this time, investigators have not determined the cause of the fire or reported any injuries.
Back in 2023, there was another fire on the Cleveland Truck Manufacturing Plant property, impacting a small materials holding area. Daimler Truck North America told WCNC Charlotte in 2023 that there were no injuries in that incident.
