The MLB All-Star game between the top players in the National League and American League is on Tuesday in Truist Park in Atlanta.

This year’s edition features Aaron Judge (New York Yankees), Cal Raleigh (Seattle Mariners), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Toronto Blue Jays), Gleyber Torres (Detroit Tigers), Junior Caminero (Tampa Bay Rays), Jacob Wilson (Oakland Athletics), Riley Greene (Tigers), Javier Baez (Tigers), Ryan O’Hearn (Baltimore Orioles) and Tarik Skubal (Tigers) representing the American League as starters.
Meanwhile, the National League starters include Will Smith (Los Angeles Dodgers), Freddie Freeman (Dodgers), Ketel Marte (Arizona Diamondbacks), Manny Machado (San Diego Padres), Francisco Lindor (New York Mets), Ronald Acuna Jr., (Atlanta Braves), Pete Crow-Armstrong (Chicago Cubs), Kyle Tucker (Cubs), Shohei Ohtani (Dodgers) and Paul Skenes (Pittsburgh Pirates).
Meanwhile, the MLB posted on X that the players will be wearing their “own teams’ uniforms for the first time since 2019, after the league started having them wear custom All-Star game jerseys. Despite the social media post, the change has been known since September 2024
However, the All-Star game jerseys received a fair amount of criticism from fans, who think wearing your own team’s uniform better represents the league and sport. Following the update, fans shared their thoughts on social media.
