Hunter Skoczylas details his top Kelsey Plum prop bet for tonight’s Sparks vs. Mystics matchup.

The Sparks have dropped back-to-back games and are looking to get back on track tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET when they host the Mystics. Washington finds itself on its own losing streak, too, having lost its last six games, and enters tonight’s matchup as nine-point road underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at O/U 168.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Kelsey Plum prop bet to consider for tonight’s Sparks vs. Mystics tilt.

Kelsey Plum Best Prop Bet on DraftKings Sportsbook

Kelsey Plum Over 19.5 Points (-115)

Tonight’s Sparks vs. Mystics matchup projects to be a back-and-forth affair featuring two turnover-prone teams. Kelsey Plum ranks fourth in the WNBA in points per game (20.1) and has cleared this line in 23-of-36 games this season. The 4x All-Star leads the team in usage rate (24.7%) but not by much, thanks to Los Angeles’ three-headed attack of Plum, Dearica Hamby and Rickea Jackson, who all garner usage rates in the 20s. Speaking of Jackson, she ranks third on the team in points per game (14.7) and is listed as questionable tonight, which could result in additional usage for Plum.

The Sparks and Mystics have faced off three times this season, with all three featuring an average of nearly 180 points per game. Los Angeles fields the fastest-paced offense in the W, and Washington ranks ninth in defensive rating. While Washington won’t be able to match the offensive pace, it ranks fifth in points off turnovers and this game is likely going to feature a whole lot of turnovers. The Sparks and Mystics rank second and third, respectively, in turnovers per game, which should lead to plenty of scoring opportunities throughout the game for Plum.

The 31-year-old scored just 12 points on 50% shooting in her last game but had cleared 20 points in the previous six games. She should get back on track tonight against a struggling Mystics squad that ranks 10th in defensive rating since the start of their six-game losing streak. She has also cleared in 2-of-3 matchups against Washington this season.
