Tottenham Hotspur are working frantically to sign new players for Thomas Frank’s squad and have opened talks with an attacker.

It’s been a summer of pure chaos at Tottenham Hotspur with some major additions, but also some crushing rejections.

Thomas Frank will be pretty pleased with most of the work Spurs have done in the window so far, but he will be hoping for more with just a few hours left.

Thomas Frank will have to forget his speech about only wanting Tottenham to sign players who want to be at the club if he is to sign Randal Kolo Muani.

Tottenham are in talks to sign Kolo Muani, as the North London club attempt to bring in a new attacker for Frank’s squad.

But as TBR Football revealed, Kolo Muani rejected Tottenham back in the January transfer window in favour of a move to Juventus.

The striker had been hoping to return to Juventus, but his move to Turin has now collapsed, and he is assessing his options elsewhere.

Spurs are now discussing a deal to sign the Frenchman, but a deal would involve bringing in a player who rejected them just over seven months ago.

After Eze rejected Tottenham for Arsenal, Frank told the media via Sky Sports: “There’s been a lot of links and will continue to be. To be very general, I don’t want any players who don’t want to come to the club.

“If they don’t want to come here and wear this fantastic badge, we don’t want them here. That’s very clear, and I imagine the fans feel exactly the same.”

Kolo Muani had a strong loan spell at Juve, so they would be getting a good player, but also one who turned them down only recently.

Newcastle also want Kolo Muani, but Yoane Wissa looks set to move there instead, and the Lilywhites appear to have jumped ahead of them in the queue for the French international.

Kylian Mbappe hails Tottenham target Randal Kolo Muani

Kylian Mbappe is a big fan of Tottenham’s target Kolo Muani and previously hailed him as ‘impressive’.

The Frenchman believes that Kolo Muani’s versatility makes him a great option for the national team, and that would be the same case for Spurs.

Speaking back in 2023, Mbappe told the media, via Metro Sport: “He is a striker who offers different game options to our team.

“He is very complete and has an impressive volume of play. We are happy with the game he played on Friday and I hope he scores tomorrow. Tomorrow we will try to get him to score a goal.”
