K-State women’s basketball will compete in the Mayan Division of the 2025 Cancun Challenge at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya from Nov. 27-29. The Wildcats will face Columbia on Thursday, North Carolina on Friday, and South Dakota State on Saturday.

This marks K-State’s fifth trip to Cancun and first since 2018. The Wildcats will meet Columbia for the first time, with the Lions coming off a 24-7 season and an Ivy League title. K-State will play North Carolina for the third time in program history, having won their last meeting in 2023. The Tar Heels reached the Sweet 16 last season.

The Wildcats will also face South Dakota State for the ninth time. The Jackrabbits went 30-4 last season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s second round.
