The Ohio Wildlife Center, located near Shawnee Hills, rehabilitates and releases native wildlife across Ohio. For animals unable to return to the wild, the center provides a permanent home and educational opportunities for the public.

City officials said they are hopeful the owl will recover and be released back into its natural habitat.

“Thank you, Andy, for going above and beyond for our community (and its wildlife)!,” the city wrote in a Facebook post.

An update on the owl’s condition is expected in the coming weeks.
