MediaCo urban contemporary “Hot 97” WQHT New York unveils a new weekday lineup, and it includes Funkmaster Flex, who last week announced his “last show” on the station.

The new lineup has Flex moving from 7pm-12am to 5-10pm. Last week, Flex posted that he would host his last evening show on Labor Day, with a MediaCo executive wishing “the legend, Funkmaster Flex, the best in his new endeavors.”  Instead, the station has launched a fresh fall lineup with Ebro in the Morning from 5-11am, DJ Drewski from 11am-1pm, Nessa from 1-5pm, and Flex from 5-10pm. With the changes, DJ Enuff exits.

“Hot 97 is more than a radio station, it’s a cultural institution,” Albert Rodriguez, CEO, President of MediaCo, told Inside Radio. “This lineup reflects the very best of hip-hop, bringing together iconic voices and unmatched energy that resonate with our listeners every day. From New York to audiences worldwide, Hot 97 continues to set the standard for hip-hop culture.”

Kudjo Sogadzi, EVP, Growth and Content at MediaCo Holding, said in a release, “This lineup reflects the best in music, personality, and connection with our audience, whether they’re tuning in from the Tri-State area or anywhere in the world.”
