As fall approaches, book lovers prepare for the ultimate Saturday, the Louisiana Book Festival. This year’s festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 1, in downtown Baton Rouge. 

The festival has listed its panelists and participants who will be featured at the event, ranging from poets to romance novelists to thriller novelists to memoirists to history and nonfiction writers. 

Some recognizable authors include Marcelle Bienvenu, Thi Bui, Richard Campanella, Johnnie Christmas, Julie Clark, Juliette Cross, Delilah S. Dawson, Lindsey Duga, Jordan LaHaye Fontenot, Sarah Guillory, Gary Krist, Wally Lamb, Bernice L. McFadden, Kelly Mustian, Farrah Rochon and Allan Wolf, among others.
