Miss this so much.

Please. I am begging you. Stop inviting Harry Styles to stuff. Stop inviting him to weddings. Stop inviting him to Glastonbury. Stop inviting him out on dates. Stop encouraging him to run a marathon. Styles is too distracted, and it’s keeping him from the most important work of his life: recording and releasing his fourth album. It would be one thing if Styles vanished from the public eye. That would be a respectable shift from a figure who has spent more than a decade doing everything in plain sight. It would be another thing if he was off filming a movie for the first time in a few years. We’ve had months, however, of Styles sightings as he gallivants about town doing everything he can that’s not working on new music. Please. Stop inviting him out. He has major work to do.

Styles’s latest non-recording music outing was Charles Porch and Robert Denning’s wedding in Paris, where he was spotted helping former Real Housewife Carole Radziwill up a flight of stairs. His show of manners comes after two sightings with Caught Stealing star ZoĆ« Kravitz — first out on a date following the film’s premiere in London and later out on a stroll in Rome. ZoĆ«, instead of accompanying him to a lovely trattoria, you should instead be walking him to a studio and locking the door once he’s in there. Earlier in the year, he ran the Tokyo Marathon in a time that suggests, if nothing else, he spent way more time literally pounding the pavement than he did singing in a booth. Look, I get it: In warmer weather, it’s great to do things outside. It’s fun to go to weddings and out on dates. The cooler weather is coming soon, though, and there’s no better time to get to work than as the days get shorter. If Styles puts his mind to it, maybe we can have an album as soon as December or maybe even March of next year. As long as it comes out before next summer. That way we’ll have something to listen to when he does this stuff all over again next year.
