COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Tuesday night the Rockies fell to the San Francisco Giants, 7-4. This marks loss 100. Again.
The Rox have lost 100 games or more three years in a row.
The team had their worst season in franchise history recently in 2023 when they went 59-103. The Rockies have 23 games left this season. Losing four of those would reset that historic low.
In 2024 the Chicago White Sox set a new low with 121 losses. The Rockies only need three more wins to avoid tying the modern era MLB’s record for most losses in a season .
The Rockies play the Giants again on Wednesday evening at Coors Field, San Fran will be going for the sweep.
