Veteran Republican senator Chuck Grassley reveals chilling firsthand accounts of Russian abduction as he demands the Trump administration address the plight of Ukrainian children.

WASHINGTON DC – In a direct challenge to the Trump administration’s Ukraine policy, veteran Republican Senator Chuck Grassley is demanding that the return of thousands of kidnapped children abducted by Russia be a non-negotiable condition for any peace agreement.Speaking on the Senate floor on Thursday, Grassley, who holds the title of President pro tempore, painted a grim picture of a humanitarian crisis that he said has been largely ignored.

Citing a Yale University estimate, the senior senator stated that more than 35,000 Ukrainian children are being held by Russian forces.“The few who have been rescued tell horrific stories of Russian indoctrination, illegal militarization, and brutal punishment for refusing to give up their Ukrainian identity,” Grassley emphasized.
