Cool weather for early September sticks around through the weekend with some passing lake effect rain showers at times. We do warm back into the 60’s to low/mid-70’s next week with a quiet week expected overall next week.

SATURDAY (SEP 6): Mostly cloudy skies prevail Saturday with passing lake effect rain showers at times. There will be dry periods too and a few peeks of sunshine but a shower is possible just about anywhere Saturday. Unseasonably cool with daytime highs from 52-62F. For comparison, normal highs this weekend are between 72-76F. West to NW wind 10-15 mph.

SUNDAY (SEP 7): A few lingering lake effect rain showers for Sunday with more sunshine however. Any showers will be more hit/miss in nature and should come to a complete end by early evening. Daytime highs will range from 58-60F. NW wind 10-15 mph.

MONDAY (SEP 8): Pleasant weather makes a return for Monday. No rain (it remains dry) with a partly cloudy sky overhead. It will be a little warmer too with highs from 65-72F.

LONGER RANGE FORECAST: The only chance for any rain next week appears to be Tuesday as a weak disturbance will pass through with showers (especially north) before dry weather and high pressure takes hold Wednesday-Friday with quiet weather. Temperatures most of next week in the mid-60’s to mid-70’s.
