As it stands, Brendan Rodgers will be walking away from his job as Celtic manager at the end of the season.
Rodgers is out of contract in 2026 and while there have been talks between the Northern Irishman and the Celtic board, a final decision hasn’t been made.
The Hoops’ chances of keeping him haven’t improved after a disastrous transfer window that has culminated in fans lambasting the Celtic board’s statement in which they addressed the lack of signings.
There have been plenty of predictions about where the Celtic manager will go next and one journalist has shared an update on where a possible new adventure could lead him to.

According to Alan Nixon’s Patreon column, Rodgers has already decided that he will leave his boyhood club for a second time.
Nixon states that Nottingham Forest are one of the clubs pondering a move for the 52-year-old in the event that Nuno Espirito Santo departs.
However, Rodgers would reportedly prefer to look to mainland Europe for his new job and would like the idea of a new challenge as opposed to returning to the Premier League.
Could Brendan Rodgers stay at Celtic?
Never say never in football and while things don’t look rosy on the outside, Rodgers has always maintained his relationship with the owners is positive.
Mark Guidi claimed that some people at Celtic want Rodgers to fail in a bid to get him to quit his Celtic Park role and appoint a replacement instead.
Walking away from your boyhood club isn’t easy and the Hoops boss will still feel like he has more to give in the Champions League too.
Time will tell if he stays or goes and whatever decision he picks will no doubt cause some debate.
