KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — A man is in custody after breaking into a Kalamazoo business late Friday night.

According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), around 11:15 p.m. deputies were dispatched to Cooper Market, located at 8005 Douglas Avenue, for a report of a man breaking into the building when it was closed.

When deputies got to the scene, they found that the suspect had used a brick to shatter the glass front door and had gone into the store.
