The years have certainly been wonder-ful to Danica McKellar, “The Wonder Years” actress who played girl-next-door Winnie Cooper.
In a birthday post for her 15-year-old son Draco, McKellar, 50, included a handful of images of the two of them through the years — from pregnancy until now, when Draco towers over her.
But what really stands out is the fact that as you watch baby Draco turn into a lanky teenager, McKellar looks almost exactly the same for a decade and a half.

“Draco, it has been such an incredible joy to be your mom — to watch you grow and help you thrive,” McKellar wrote in the post she shared on Sept. 7. “And all those good times we had together when you were so small? It’s tempting to feel sad that those days are behind us.”
McKellar included photos of her and Draco snuggling, playing, skiing, celebrating New Year’s Eve and traveling to New York City.

“As I watch you grow in independence (and height!), my heart feels the fullness of that legacy we are still building,” she continued.
“But you’re not quite grown yet — in fact, everyone please say a little prayer as we enter the season of learning to drive … !”
When McKellar posted an Instagram video with Draco in May, they were closer to the same height then, so he has shot up recently!@danicamckellar via Instagram
How on earth does McKellar still look as energetic and fresh-faced as she did when she was a teen herself? Did she develop a math equation to solve the issue of growing older? Does moving to Tennessee make you age backwards? Is this some sort of Hallmark movie magic come true?
We’re guessing McKellar will keep her secrets to herself. And in the meantime, let’s hope that Draco’s birthday gift is his stellar family genes.
“Happy birthday, Draco!” McKellar wrote. “I’m so proud of the young man you’ve become, and I love you soooo much!!”
