Whoopi Goldberg isn’t holding back.

The co-host of “The View” had pointed words for former President Barack Obama following comments he made at a private donor event Friday night. During the speech, Obama criticized Democrats for what he viewed as weak pushback against President Donald Trump, saying the party needed “a little bit less navel-gazing and a little less whining.”

Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban also had his own critique of the Democratic Party. In a virtual speech aired during Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” Cuban said Democrats were targeting “the wrong pressure points,” adding that their messaging boiled down to: “It’s just ‘Trump sucks.’”

These sentiments didn’t sit well with Goldberg, who fired back at both men.

“Let me remind everybody who was out on the front lines marching, when we had the giant marches that went on. It was the people. The people went out. They were not navel-gazing, it was older people who were saying, ‘Why are you touching my social security?’” Goldberg said. “It was not people whining, it was about people saying, ‘Why are you taking these rights away from my child when my child was born here?’”

The EGOT recipient then directed her criticism at the Democratic establishment.

“This has not been about Democrats laying back, this has been about y’all,” Goldberg said.

She went on to argue that Democrats have been consistently vocal and active in their opposition to Trump — and that the party’s frustration is justified.

Goldberg said Democrats have been “angry” throughout both of Trump’s terms in the White House and, with “much due respect,” she believes Obama and Cuban are “pointing the wrong finger at the wrong person.”
