The hotel will be located at 605 Guilford College Road.
GREENSBORO, N.C. — At the end of May, Greensboro officials approved a permit for the building of a new 124-room hotel next to the Top Golf on Guilford College Road.
According to the permit and approved site plans, a new Marriott StudioRes hotel will be built at 605 Guilford College Road. The 58,499-square-foot hotel will cost just north of $11 million.
Marriott’s website says its StudioRes hotels were designed with long-term clients in mind. Each room will feature its own kitchen. The hotel will also have an on-site workout room and laundry room for guests to use.
Marriott opened its first StudioRes hotel in Fort Myers, Florida, last month. Room rates for this hotel are currently around $100 a night.
The new StudioRes hotel won’t be the only new addition coming to the area around Top Golf. Site plans have also been approved for an entertainment center from Main Event Entertainment. Additional details about this project are not known at this time.
