GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A pair of guards are set to return to action for the defending National Champions.
On Thursday, Head Coach Todd Golden announced that Arkansas transfer Boogie Fland and Ohio transfer AJ Brown have both been “fully cleared for all basketball-related activities.” The news initially reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
Florida’s Boogie Fland (sports hernia) & AJ Brown (shoulder) have both been fully cleared for all basketball related activities, per Todd Golden.
Fland averaged 13.5 PPG & 5.1 APG last season at Arkansas.
Brown averaged 13.2 PPG last season at Ohio.

The New York native started 18 games last season for Arkansas under Head Coach John Calipari. Fland missed two months of action due to a thumb injury in his freshman campaign, but handled a bench role for Rozarbacks in the NCAA tournament.
Redshirt junior AJ Brown spent three years at Ohio before transferring and returning home this offseason. The Orlando native appeared in 64 games and started 46 contests with Ohio.

They’re tasked with replacing the incredible production of the departed Walter Clayton Jr., Alijah Martin, and Will Richard.
