Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George is coming off a tough first season in the City of Brotherly Love as he was limited to only 41 games and saw his numbers drop across the board compared to his final season with the Los Angeles Clippers.

However, when George is healthy and right, he deserves a ton of respect as one of the better players in this league, regardless of position. He is a 9-time All-Star, and while his best basketball is probably behind him, he can still contribute to winning and help a team get over the hump.

It will also be interesting to see how PG comes back from missing so much time last year.

If George can recover from his offseason arthroscopic procedure and continue to push forward and get back to the level he once was at, then the Sixers will be in the mix in the wide-open Eastern Conference. His fit next to Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey will still need work as they didn’t get much time in 2024-25, but the Sixers are still counting on those three to get it done.
