The Aces had a rocky start to the season and briefly lost reigning MVP A’ja Wilson with a wrist injury, but have fought their way back to win the last 10 games of the regular season and earn the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. Wilson led the league in average points this season, with 23.4 points and average rebounds with 10.2.
The Storm were fighting for a playoff spot until their last week of regular -season play but managed to snag the No. 7 seed and avoid the No. 1 Minnesota Lynx in the first round. The Storm are led by Nneka Ogwumike, who averages 18.3 points per game and Skylar Diggins, who averages 15.5 points per game.
