(Clarinda) — Due to several main breaks, Clarinda residents are asked to begin conserving water.
City officials say that due to multiple water main breaks, the water towers are depleting very quickly and could possibly run out of water later today. Officials say multiple crews are currently working on the repairs.
Clarinda Lied Lirbary officials say in an effort to support conservation efforts, only the single-stall restroom in the children’s area will remain open. Additionally, the library has turned off its lawn irrigation system. Meanwhile, the Clarinda Lied Center is currently asking patrons to not use showers and sinks at the facility.
Residents are asked to not interrupt any crews while they address the water main repairs.
