In 2024, Thailand witnessed a significant rise in interest from long-haul travelers, as indicated by recent Airbnb data. The increase in air connectivity has fueled this surge, reflecting an expanding desire among international visitors, especially from Europe, North America, and Australia, to experience the country’s wide range of attractions—ranging from idyllic islands and rich cultural landmarks to wellness escapes and exceptional culinary experiences.

Airbnb recorded a nearly 40 percent* year-on-year rise in bookings for Thailand from long-haul travelers originating from major international markets. This solidifies Thailand’s reputation as a top-tier destination for global tourists.
