Three police officers in Pennsylvania were killed and two others critically injured when a crazed gunman opened fire while they were executing a warrant Wednesday afternoon, according to police and sources.
The cops were blasted by gunfire around 2:10 p.m. at a home on the 1800 block of Haar Road in North Codorus Township, about 35 miles south of Harrisburg, according to state police and a York County spokesperson.
The two officers who were shot were rushed to Wellspan York Hospital and are currently in critical but stable condition, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Col. Christopher Paris said at a press conference Wednesday night.
Officials have not released the names of the officers who were killed.

The suspect who shot the officers, who were following up on an investigation that began Tuesday, was shot dead by police at the scene, Paris said.
Law enforcement sources told The Post that the incident appeared to be domestic in nature.
Gov. Josh Shapiro said US Attorney General Pam Bondi reached out to him personally and shared that the state has the “full support of the government.”

“It meant a lot to me that she reached out to offer her support and her prayers for the good people of Pennsylvania,” the Democrat said at the press conference.
“This kind of violence isn’t OK. We need to do better as a society. We need to help the people who think picking up a gun, picking up a weapon is the answer to resolving disputes… So we don’t need to deal with tragedies like this.”
The tragic shooting comes exactly one week after accused assassin Tyler Robinson, 22, fired off one single, fatal bullet into conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s neck during an outdoor speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem.
The suspect who shot the officers died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, three officials familiar with the incident told NBC News.

Law enforcement and first responders have since swarmed the area, with a medevac helicopter landing nearby, according to FOX 43.
“Multiple police officers have been shot in York County,” Eugene DePeasquale, chair of the PA Democratic Party, posted on X.
“Authorities say the incident happened near 1879 Harr Road in North Codorus Township. Residents are being urged to avoid the area as numerous emergency units are on scene.”
While police have not publicly confirmed the number of officers injured or the circumstances of the shooting, a local hospital reported that two individuals are in serious condition.
“Wellspan York Hospital is currently treating two individuals related to the police incident in North Codorus Township,” a Wellspan rep told CBS21.

The Spring Grove School District’s six schools were ordered to remain in shelter-in-place after the shooting, with the lockdown ending at 4:10 p.m., according to the district’s website.
“We’ve been given the ‘all clear’ from law enforcement, and the shelter in place has ended,” school officials said in a pop-up message on the website.
“We want to remind everyone that today’s incident did not involve our schools or students. Our actions were taken strictly out of an abundance of caution, with the safety of students and staff as our top priority.”
The York hospital treating the injured victims is also on lockdown due to a “police shooting,” CBS21 reported.
“It’s another really bad day for York County law enforcement,” the Fairview Township Police Department posted on Facebook, with a photo of the Thin Blue Line flag.
“Please keep our brothers and sisters near Spring Grove in your thoughts and prayers.”
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro — who will hold a press conference at 6 p.m. — also advised residents in the area to adhere to local law enforcement as they investigate.
“I’ve been briefed on the situation involving law enforcement in York County, and am on my way there now,” the Democrat posted on X just before 3:30 p.m.
“We ask those in the area to please follow the directions of local law enforcement and @PAStatePolice.”
State Attorney General Dave Sunday also said he is also en route to the crime scene.
“Closely monitoring breaking news reports of police officers being injured responding to an incident in York County,” US Rep. Lloyd Smucker posted on X just after 3:30 p.m.
“Please join me in praying for our first responders and all involved.”
