The second game in the Wednesday, Sept. 17 WNBA Playoff doubleheader takes place in a stadium that wasn’t hosting games all season as the Golden State Valkyries host the Minnesota Lynx at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. due to a scheduling conflict at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The game is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ESPN. Fans looking to watch this WNBA game can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial, or FuboTV, which also offers a free trial and up to $25 off your first month. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available. ESPN+ plans are currently at $11.99 a month or $16.99 a month if you bundle with Hulu and Disney+.

The Lynx earned a victory in the first game of the series, 101-72. Napheesa Collier led all scorers with 20 points while Natisha Hiedeman had 18 off the bench. The other major scorers for Minnesota were Kayla McBride with 17, Courtney Williams with 11 and Jessica Shepard, also coming off the bench with 12.

The Valkyries had a balanced scoring attack, but after a 28-point first quarter, they could not keep pace with the Lynx. Most Improved Player Veronica Burton had 14 points, seven assists, five rebounds, three steals and a block while Cecilia Zandalasini, Janelle Salaun, Temi Fagbenle and Kate Martin posted 14, 13, 12 and 11 points, respectively. Golden State is hoping it has the same outcome as the other road teams that hosted Game 2 down 0-1 on Tuesday and forced a Game 3.
