Officials said water and rescue dive teams have found the body of a man reported missing at Acme Lake in Mt. Pleasant Township on Wednesday. He said a neighbor went into the water, swimming across the lake to try to reach the man, but could not locate him.A woman who was also in the kayak made it safely to shore, Krozel said.The Trib later reported that officials recovered the man from the lake shortly after 4 p.m. The coroner has since been called to the scene. He later identified the victim as 67-year-old David Dirado of New Stanton. The corner said he was with friends and family on the lake when he appeared to have fallen out of the kayak and into the water. Dirado was not wearing a life vest. Viewer video shared to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 showed multiple officials on the scene unloading equipment to be used in the search.
