Barbara Eden was once trapped in a genie bottle — in real life.

The former I Dream of Jeannie star, 94, spoke to People in an article published on Thursday, September 18 — the same day the beloved sitcom marks its 60th anniversary — and shared one moment from filming that she was not too fond of.

“I think the only time, and it was when the crew and Larry [Hagman] and the whole cast left me in the bottle at lunchtime and I was starving,” she told the outlet. “I couldn’t get out of the bottle.”

“I had done the scene in the bottle, but I couldn’t get in or out of it. There was no ladder, and I yelled and I screamed,” she recalled.

However, this wasn’t the only time the actress got trapped somewhere on set.

“But everything else was always comfortable. No, well, I was stuck in the safe. That wasn’t comfortable,” Eden remarked, seemingly referring to the four-part episode arc from season three, where her character was locked in a safe.

Eden starred as Jeannie in the hit series from 1965 to 1970 and told People it was “a huge blessing” to be known for her iconic character.
