One decision can change everything in The Plastic Men, releasing on VOD July 29 via Glass House Distribution.

Based on a true story inspired by a viral Craigslist ad, the psychological horror drama is written and directed by Samuel Gonzalez Jr. (The Retaliators).

Check out the trailer below along with a batch of exclusive stills.

Vietnam veteran Jonathan Teller, struggling with guilt and horrifying hallucination, plans his suicide, but a chance encounter with a mysterious woman changes every thing.

James Preston, Aaron Dalla Villa (The Wrath of Becky), Melanie Martyn, Matthew Fahey (“Animal Kingdom”), and Gigi Gustin (The Retaliators) star with William Fichtner (Armageddon) as the narrator.

“I wrote and directed The Plastic Men to shine a light on the kind of suffering no one talks about — the kind that lingers long after the war ends,” Gonzalez tells Bloody Disgusting. “But it’s also about redemption, and how even one unexpected connection can change a life. This film is a tribute to the invisible wounds of war and the kind of love that doesn’t save you all at once — but shows up when you need it most.”
