Fire officials team up with AI firm to better track and combat future wildfires

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fire officials announce that they will be working with AI to help gather information when dealing with future wildfires.

Fire officials say they are working with OroraTech an AI company to help detect and track wildfires in real time.

The company uses satellite images along with thermal images to provide information about potential and existing wildfires.

The assistance of the AI can help fire crews make faster and more informed decisions.
