The transfer portal has become the main focus for college basketball coaches in the spring. Examination of the transfer portal starts during the season and ramps up once the regular season ends. It’s simple. College programs are increasingly becoming more inclined to have a two-year college veteran on their roster than a 17 or 18-year-old freshman.
