Local Golf Course Vandalized Overnight

Updated Information

7/16; 5 p.m.—According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, a juvenile was charged with felony criminal mischief for driving onto the golf course and causing the damage.

The juvenile was arraigned and released to a parent with an upcoming return date.  

A total of $4,000 worth of damage was caused. 

7/2; 6:13 p.m.—The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.

CLINTON, N.Y. — Damage occurred at a nearby golf course during the night.

According to the Skenandoa Club, on Tuesday evening, “someone decided to drive their car/truck on to the course, doing significant damage to the tees and fairway on hole nine, through the bunker and over number eight green.”
