Aidan Chronister, the No. 71 overall recruit in the national 2026 class, has announced his commitment to Missouri.
A 6-foot-7 wing who attends Fayetteville (Ark.) The New School, Chronister valued how long the staff has been prioritizing him as a recruit.
“Coach Gates is a great coach,” Chronister said. “His staff has been recruiting me for 809 days. He is leading Missouri in the right direction. He’s building the program to be a like a blueblood. I definitely want to be a part of it. They have been recruiting me the longest and that is why they have shown love to me.”
Chronister chose the Missouri after completing his official visit this past weekend. He committed to the Tigers following a visit to Wake Forest, with Arkansas State and Saint Louis still on his visit schedule.
“There was nothing I didn’t like,” Chronister said. “Everybody in Columbia loves Missouri. What stood out to me was the development. They showed me percentages of their players abd how they have skyrocketed since being there. That speaks volumes.”
With Chronister on board, he joins five-star guard Jason Crowe Jr. in the Tigers 2026 recruiting class. He is looking to make an instant impact as s long range shooter as soon as he arrives on campus.
“I definitely want to hit a lot of threes next year but I also can do it all,” Chronister said. “I want to go and win a national championship. That is the plan.”
